Carla Gugino joins ‘Justified’ cast.
Carla Gugino has joined the cast of Justified for season three. The actress has landed a recurring role as Karen Goodall, according to TV Line.
Karen, an assistant director of the US Marshals Service, used to work with Raylan (Timothy Olyphant). The character, who is said to be “tough, smart and funny”, moves from Washington DC to Kentucky to help some witnesses who are in danger after the murder of another Marshal.
Gugino has previously starred in shows such as Spin City, Chicago Hope, Californication and Entourage. She has also worked on movies like Watchmen, American Gangster and Sin City. Her casting comes shortly after it emerged that Neal McDonough and Mykelti Williamson have landed roles in the new season of Justified.
The show is due to return early next year.
