David O. Russell’s new movie gets an official title and release date

Via goldderby: Five-time Oscar nominee David O. Russell returns with a new star-studded ensemble this fall, and 20th Century Studios and parent company Disney finally unveiled the project’s official title on Wednesday at CinemaCon.

Often referred to in online circles as “Canterbury Glass,” the Russell film is actually called “Amsterdam.” Disney said the 20th Century Studios release is “an original romantic crime epic about three close friends who find themselves at the center of one of the most shocking secret plots in American history.”

“Amsterdam” hit theaters on November 4.
